Emotional Intelligence in the Workplace
This is one of a series of motion graphics pieces created by the team to boost understanding of Emotional Intelligence, or EQ, and how it fits into the workplace. Specifically, in a healthcare clinic setting.

Healthy Habits Wellness Messaging
These are examples of some of the wellness content messages we created to support staff self-care.
In an environment where healthcare professionals are largely focused on caring for others, we recognized the need to remind people that they are worthy of the same attention.

Patient Care Messaging
Evolution of Patient Care template. In 2024, facing the need to expand into new formats (widescreen) as well as maintain or update assets for the existing screen formats, I saw opportunity to better unify and clarify this category.
Some considerations I made were:

+ Creating a new header bar to represent the content category, with icons correlating to the specialties (primary care, gastroenterology, etc)
+ Adapting the text style to better match current branding
+ Improving hierarchy of information
+ Maximizing space for images
+ Using responsive design to support optimal layout in regards to format changes and individual message needs
+ Integrating data merge to batch-create content

Patient Care Messaging, continued
Early in 2025, the determination was made that we would be moving from static to animated content for most categories. As such, I began working on another evolution of the template that would look familiar, but could incorporate motion to add visual interest.
Shown here are storyboards representing the key movements. The concept was to use the swooping heart as an element to introduce and prime the audience for the "patient care" message type, and repeat across the image, both as a way to show care for the subject by embracing them, and support the heartbeat metaphor for good health.

Inflation Reduction Act
An informational series explaining the basics of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022, and how it affects drug pricing for patients.
Here I'm showing the process of developing three different style directions based on research and inspiration, basic storyboard layouts, and one of the final videos. We were aiming to keep each message between 30-60 seconds, to keep the information "bite-sized" for busy audiences who are often just passing by.

Recipes for On-the-Go Caretakers
This was the most recent iteration of recipe content created for clinical audiences. Prior work was completely static, and confined to the smaller, secondary zone of a multi-zone screen. With the new option to add video content, I evolved the existing template with a refreshed style, keeping it familiar but improved, and adapted it to include more information and interest beyond the title and QR code that we were limited to on the static versions. The codes lead to a micro-site where full recipes can be accessed.

Trivia Time
This is an example of some of the "edutainment" content we provided as a needed break for busy staff.

How it all came together
These are examples of how content appeared on the multi-zone "back office" screens. These are the non-interactive, or passive screens. There was also an up-and-coming interactive version that included more video content, conferencing capabilities, and access to a library of information. Layout and UX/UI have since changed.
